Round 1 of PMA2020/Côte d’Ivoire will be conducted in 73 enumeration areas to give nationally representative, as well as urban/rural estimates. This project is led by the Direction de Coordination du Programme National de Santé de la Mère et de L’Enfant/National Program for the Health of the Mother and Child (DC-PNSME) within the Ministry of Health, and implemented by the Institut National de la Statistique (INS)/National Statistics Agency in Côte d’Ivoire.
PMA2020/Côte d’Ivoire Principal Investigator: Mr. Andoh Kouakou Hyacinthe
Mr. Andoh Kouakou Hyacinthe is Statistician, Deputy Director-Coordinator of the National Program for Mother and Child Health. He has been involved in reproductive health and family planning for several years. He is working to increase and shine light on the use of contraception in order to help reduce the maternal, neonatal and infant mortality ratio and for Côte d'Ivoire to achieve the benefits of the demographic dividend. He participated in the collection, processing and analysis of data of several studies. He contributed to the writing of the 2011-2012 Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) report.
PMA2020/Côte d’Ivoire Data Manager: Mr. Boti Bolou Bi David
Mr Boti Bolou Bi David is an engineer in statistics and economics. He is currently a member of the Institut National de la Statistique of Côte d'Ivoire, responsible for developing the regional action strategy, coordinating production activities and disseminating regional statistics. He has extensive experience in the management of large-scale survey data, including surveys on household living standard in Côte d'Ivoire.
